Race Day Packet Pick-Up. For $10 per race packet, you can pick up your packet at the race site on race day from 6:00 a.m. - 7:40 a.m. You can sign up for this service during the registration process.
Only those who register for Race Day Packet Pick-Up will be able to pick up their packet on race day.
All participants are strongly encouraged to carpool or use public transportation to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. If you drive, please allow sufficient time for heavy traffic and street closures due to the race.

SEPTA
There are two SEPTA subway lines that will bring you within a mile of the race. The Market-Frankford Line runs east and west. Take this line to the 15th Street/City Hall stop. The Broad Street Line runs north and south. Take this line to the Race-Vine/Convention Center stop or the City Hall stop. For schedules and fares, visit www.septa.org or call (215) 580-7800.
Amtrak
Amtrak provides extensive service to 30th Street Station, which is about a mile from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. For schedules and fares, visit www.amtrak.com or call (800) 872-7245.

The Rocky Run will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather (e.g., lightning) or other conditions that may affect the safety and health of participants, race officials reserve the right to delay, postpone or cancel the race. All registrations are nonrefundable.
All registrations are nonrefundable. No exceptions. As with all events, proceeds from the event are used to cover the numerous nonrefundable pre and post-race expenses required to produce the event (e.g., city permits, park district permits, medical personnel, police and traffic control, security, participant shirts, finisher medals, bib numbers, timing chips, equipment rental, participant refreshments, tents and staging, event staff, signage, event supplies, portable restrooms, etc.).

13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge (5K + 10 Mile = 13.1 Miles)
The race will start on Benjamin Franklin Parkway in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Please note the race finishes in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and does not go up the stairs.
The Rocky Run will feature the B-Tag ChronoTrack timing system. All participants will receive a B-Tag timing device attatched to their bib number.
Participants must maintain at least a 15:00 minute per mile pace*. Please note your official time does not start until you cross the start line.
*If participating in the 13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge, you must maintain at least a 13:00 minute per mile pace in the 5K to ensure you are lined up in time for the 10 Mile start.
Participants will be assigned to an appropriate corral based on the projected pace submitted on their entry form.
Take the 13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge and earn 3 amazing finisher medals. On race day, put those muscles to work in this epic 13.1 mile challenge by completing both the 5K and the 10 Mile. If you finish both races within the pacing requirements, you will be awarded the coveted 13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge finisher medal in addition to your 5K and 10 Mile finisher medals. That’s right, triple your bling and walk away a champion.
1) Register for the 13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge. Registering for the 5K and 10 Mile individually will not make you eligible to receive the 13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge finisher medal.
2) First complete the 5K (starting at 7:00 a.m.) and then complete the 10 Mile (starting at 7:55 a.m.).
3) Maintain at least a 13 minute per mile pace in the 5K to ensure you are lined up in time for the 10 Mile start.

In the event of lightning, the race will be postponed 30 minutes every time lightning is detected within a 10 mile radius of the event. Please note that every time lightning strikes within a 10 mile radius, the 30 minute timing increment will restart.
