OPTION 1

OPTION 2

Have another person pick up your race packet by presenting a copy of your registration QR code from your confirmation email.

 

OPTION 3

Race Day Packet Pick-Up:

 

For $20 per race packet, you can register to pick up your packet at the race site on race day from 6:00 a.m. – 7:45 a.m. This option can be selected during registration or added later.

 

Please note only participants who have registered for Race Day Packet Pick-Up will be able to pick up their packet on race day.

 

On race day, be sure to allow enough time to check in (e.g., parking, Gear Check, etc.). We recommend participants arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the race.

 

Gear Check

Gear Check will be available at the race site in the main festival area.

 

Parking & Transportation

All participants are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. If you drive, please allow sufficient time for heavy traffic and street closures due to the race.

SEPTA
There are two SEPTA subway lines that will bring you within a mile of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The Market-Frankford Line runs east and west. Take this line to the 15th Street / City Hall stop. The Broad Street Line runs north and south. Take this line to the Race-Vine / Convention Center stop or the City Hall stop. For schedules and fares, visit septa.org.

 

Amtrak
Amtrak provides extensive service to 30th Street Station, which is about a mile from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. For schedules and fares, visit amtrak.com.

 

 

Weather Policy

The Rocky Run will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather (e.g., lightning) or other conditions that may affect the safety and health of participants, race officials reserve the right to delay, postpone, or cancel the race. All registrations are nonrefundable and nondeferrable.

Start & Finish Locations

The race starts on Benjamin Franklin Parkway in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Please note the race finishes in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and does not go up the stairs.

 

Bib Number Guidelines

All participants must wear a bib number to enter the start line corrals. No exceptions. Your bib must be clearly visible and attached to the front of your outermost layer of clothing during the race. Please note participants without a visible bib number will be removed from the course.

 

Timing

The Rocky Run will feature the B-Tag ChronoTrack timing system. All participants will receive a B-Tag timing device attached to their bib number.

 

Course Time Limit

Participants must maintain at least a 15:00 minute pace per mile.

 

Start Wave Placement

Participants will be assigned to an appropriate corral based on the projected pace submitted on their entry form.

 

5K + 10 Mile = 13.1 Mile | Half Marathon

 

 

What is this?

On race day, put those muscles to work in this epic half marathon challenge by completing both the 5K and the 10 Mile. After finishing both races, you will be awarded the coveted 13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge finisher medal in addition to your 5K and 10 Mile finisher medals. Double the challenge, triple the reward.

 

How it works

Challengers will first complete the 5K at 7:00 a.m., then complete the 10 Mile at 8:00 a.m.

 

To Qualify

  1. Register for the 13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge.
  2. Complete the 5K at 7:00 a.m., then complete the 10 Mile at 8:00 a.m.
  3. Maintain at least a 15 minute pace per mile.
  4. Run like the champ.

 

Please note registering for the 5K and 10 Mile separately does not qualify you to receive the 13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge finisher medal.

Drago must break you! Get ready to conquer the beast that is Mount Drago—a towering, brutal, unforgiving hill on the 10 Mile course where every step upward is timed with precision. Using state-of-the-art timing mats, we track your ascent from the base to the summit. The fastest 100 male and female finishers will earn the legendary Mount Drago finisher medal—a true badge of honor for those who dare to push their limits.

 

The Rocky Run offers a variety of awards and contests.

Refund Policy

All registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable. No exceptions. As with all events, proceeds from the event are used to cover the numerous nonrefundable pre and post-race expenses required to produce the event (e.g., city permits, park district permits, medical personnel, police and traffic control, security, participant shirts, finisher medals, bib numbers, timing chips, equipment rental, participant refreshments, tents and staging, event staff, signage, event supplies, portable restrooms, etc.).

Lightning Policy

In the event of lightning, the race will be postponed 30 minutes every time lightning is detected within a 10-mile radius of the race site. Please note every time lightning strikes within a 10-mile radius, the 30-minute timing increment will restart.
